HOUSE SEASONED TOFU

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon umami seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 tablespoon oil (I used sunflower)

  • 1 block tofu (extra firm, or pressed firm tofu work best)

 
 

Method

Serves 4, easily doubled

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  2. Mix all spices together in a large bowl

  3. Cube tofu and add 1 tablespoon oil of choice

  4. Mix together and add to baking tray

  5. Bake for 15 minutes at 450, then broil on high for 2-3 minutes watching closely so they don’t burn

 

House Seasoned Tofu Meal Ideas & Notes

  • Works great in a salad, grain bowl, tacos, or even cut into slices and used on a sandwich

  • Easily meal prepped and keeps well in the freezer

  • Can be eaten hot or cold, or even raw
