WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT
A different kind of recipe blog.
We know stories and food are intertwined — recipes carry history, culture, and tradition, and that’s something we deeply respect and appreciate. We love that food bloggers have found ways to make a living sharing their stories and recipes, and understand that competing for visibility with SEO can require additional words. But we also understand the reality of being a home cook. Sometimes you want the story behind the recipe, and sometimes you just want dinner on the table before the pasta water boils over.
Cork & Cashews is a recipe-first blog. We might include the occasional cooking note or story, but mostly we’re here for when you need a break from pop-ups, long scrolls, and “jump to recipe” buttons (and we hope you’ll keep exploring the stories and traditions behind your favorite meals with other incredible food bloggers).
Real-life cooking.
Alongside from-scratch and gourmet recipes, you’ll find an abundance of semi-homemade meal ideas for busy home cooks (featuring pre-made or frozen components), cooking guides for the freestyle cooks who like to stir and taste, and even the occasional product or restaurant recommendation for those no-cook kind of days.
The heart of it.
Cork & Cashews is about rediscovering joy in everyday cooking. For us, that means empowering home cooks to feel confident to go off-book and freestyle meal times, and figuring out ways to eat our veggies without sacrificing on comfort, flavor, or deliciousness.
