ALL-PURPOSE SAVORY CASHEW TOPPING
Base recipe ingredients:
2 cups cashews
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon salt
Base recipe method:
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender or food processor until finely ground (but not a paste!).
Adaptations:
While blending, add any additional flavor combinations such as garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, or crushed red pepper for a spicy take.
Uses:
Primarily used as a savory, nutty seasoning to any pastas, toasts, or other dishes.
Can also be blended into sauces as a thickener or to add depth of flavor.
